Outside a discount store, a group of homeless people has set up a camp, surviving on food scraps from dumpsters and clashing with the store’s aggressive staff. At the same time, new, harsh working conditions are straining relationships among the store employees.
I worked on the animation for this film, which was shot partially in Göteborg and partially in Turin. The characters truly reflect the spirit of the story. It was wonderful to collaborate with Ami-Ro Sköld, who gave us animators creative freedom and trust, directing the animation just like live action. It was a new approach for me that I will never forget.

Inspired by the story of Ignazio Cutrò, a construction entrepreneur and victim of the mafia extortion racket in the province of Agrigento, the animated film tells the true story of a Sicilian witness of justice who managed to remain in his homeland, Sicily. Together with other ordinary citizens who, like him, stood up against the Mafia, he helped draft a law—still in effect today—that allows these individuals to work in public administrations.
A mixed-media project, I contributed by animating 3D objects into the scenes. It’s a small part in this film, but I’m thrilled to have played a role in bringing this important story to life—it’s one that truly needed to be told.

The documentary tells the story of the relationships between Italians and Jews during the Italian occupation of France between 1940 and 1943. The narrative unfolds through the love story between Rima Dridso Levin, a Russian Jew, and Federico Strobino, an Italian Catholic officer, both of whom survived the horrors of the war.
I worked on creating the sets used in the documentary to reconstruct the village where the events take place, providing the necessary video footage for the story. It was an absolute thrill to work on such grand sets, especially for a story as incredible as this one! I’m so grateful to Linda Kelvink for pulling me into this amazing project—it’s been an unforgettable experience!
